Eye Care on 5th Avenue
I am pleased to welcome you to my office which is conveniently located in the heart of Greenwich Village and I would be delighted to have you as a patient. If you're looking for high quality eye care with a personal touch, you do not need to look further.
The goal of my team is to make your visit convenient, personal and professional. Combining technological expertise with superior customer service, our biggest commitment is not just in meeting your expectations, but in exceeding them.
We treat each patient with the care that they deserve and strive to extend the concern beyond the scope of ophthalmology. Doing otherwise would be practicing something else than medicine.
If you're a current patient, thank you for allowing us the opportunity to fulfill your eye care needs. If you're a new visitor, my team looks forward to meeting you and exploring the various options available for correcting or enhancing your vision.
Cataract Surgery (Phacoemulsiphication)
You can expect worry-free cataract surgery at Eye Care on 5th, performed by top Manhattan eye doctors in our friendly and state of the art Greenwich Village office at 25 Fifth Ave #1A. During cataract surgery the eye's natural lens is replaced with an artificial lens (Intraocular Lens Implant or IOL). The plastic artificial lens used in cataract surgery is permanent, requires no care, and can significantly improve your vision.
Usually, cataract surgery at Eye Care on 5th is an outpatient procedure that takes less than an hour to complete. In most cases it requires only local anesthesia. If you need to have cataract surgery in both eyes, your procedure will be scheduled as two separate surgeries allowing time for the first eye to heal before the second eye surgery takes place.
